Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
LocalPulse LLC ("LocalPulse," "we," "us," "our") provides local SEO services and a customer-messaging platform to small businesses — primarily home service trades and auto repair shops. This policy explains what information we collect when you interact with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who this policy applies to
This policy covers two groups:
- Business owners and prospects who contact LocalPulse directly — for example, by requesting a free GBP audit, filling out the contact form, or scheduling a strategy call.
- End customers of small businesses who use LocalPulse's hosted websites and messaging tools — for example, someone requesting a repair estimate from one of our auto shop clients. In these cases LocalPulse acts as a service provider on behalf of the small business; the business is the controller of that customer's information.
Information we collect from business owners and prospects
When you submit one of our forms or contact us, we collect:
- Your name and business name
- Email address
- Phone number (if provided)
- Industry, city served, current website URL (if any)
- Anything you choose to tell us in a message field
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, timestamps — tied to your submission
Information we collect from end customers (on behalf of clients)
When an end customer fills out a form on a website we host for one of our small business clients, we may process:
- Their name, email, and phone number
- Information about the service they're requesting (e.g., vehicle details, the issue they need fixed)
- SMS opt-in consent records — including the consent text shown, the timestamp, the source URL, IP address, and user agent at the moment of opt-in
This information is collected for the sole purpose of helping our client business respond to that customer's request. LocalPulse does not use end-customer data for our own marketing.
How we use your information
- To provide the services you requested (audit, strategy call, SEO services, messaging platform)
- To follow up on your inquiry by phone, email, or — only if you opt in — SMS
- To operate, secure, and improve our platform and the websites we host for clients
- To meet legal and tax requirements as a Nevada business
SMS / text messaging
Mobile phone numbers and the consent to receive SMS are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS consent data is used only to deliver the messages you've agreed to receive.
LocalPulse also operates SMS messaging on behalf of our small business clients (e.g., delivering a repair estimate by text to one of an auto shop's customers). In those cases, the customer's SMS consent is collected on the client's branded website with that client's name, sample message, and contact information shown. The consent record is stored by LocalPulse on behalf of the client and is not used for any purpose beyond fulfilling the client's transactional messages to that customer.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business — for example, our email delivery provider (Resend), our SMS provider (Twilio), our hosting and forms provider (Netlify), and Google APIs we use to look up Google Business Profile data. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only to provide their service to us.
- Our small business clients — when an end customer submits a request on a website we host for a client, that customer's submission is shared with the client so they can respond.
- Legal compliance, if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
Data retention
Audit and contact submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless you become a client, in which case service records are kept as required by Nevada business and tax law. End-customer data on hosted client sites is retained per the client's policy, typically up to 90 days for non-converted leads. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your choices" below).
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable service providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your choices
- Opt out of SMS: reply STOP to any text message from us or one of our client businesses.
- Opt out of email: reply to any email asking to be removed.
- Request deletion: email us at the address below to have your information deleted from our records.
- Access or correct your data: contact us to review or update what we have on file.
Children's privacy
Our services are directed to business owners and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
